Diagnostic warning

Hi,

when i start engine, diagnostics displays a warning: long term fuel trim was reached value of -16.4 at 26 Dec 2011 5:30:18 and is more than defined threshold of 11.0

Can anyone tell me what is this warning? And why value is negative?

In general, you may need to diagnose your engine on a service station - its not a simple task to understand what is the reason of increased LTFT.

That could be as simple as dead or dirty oxygen sensor, or as complex as leaking somewere in air/fuel system.

Negative LTFT means your vehicle commands 16% less fuel comparing to what it normally gives. The obvous visual consequence could be a reduced overall performance of your vehicle.

And one more thing. In my Dash lights up Chek engine lamp but HOBD dont show any errors? This another scaner show P0420 error?

Thats a bug in nissan custom profile, itll be fixed soon.

MILcodes are also somewhat problematic, we investigating this now.

I wanted to know how things are going with mil code problems. I tried the latest 1.1.51 version of HOBD, but it still not working diagnostic.

And in Nissan custom In new version Lambda show level in % I think (From 0 to 100).

Unfortunately I still dont have any information on MIL reading on these ECUs. Will be glad to add as soon as I find something.

I remember that diagnostic was working in old version HOBD. But after adding Nissan custom it don't work.

But then, can you try not Nissan Custom, but standard OBD2 profile?

I tryed standart (car) with ELM int (custom)
custom work but sometimes lose conection.
For first time diagnostic was initializing... After a few minutes end this proces but dont show milcode
Diagnostic was working somewhere at the beginning of 2012, then I first try HOBD.

I don't see your vehicle replies to any MIL code requests - not sure however how to deal with the fact that you say it worked sometime ago..

First of all sorry for my English language.
Hobd program I re-installed it as many times,
so in that file you does'nt find the necessary information .
If you could send me HOBD old version that was before 1.1.27 update (approximately 2012 January)
I could install it and try on my navigation.
and then send in the required file again.

It was shown only Once then I did same expiriments

Hm.. but you say in this mode you can't use hobdrive normally because it does not read data except this MIL?

Not exactly some data a readed (as I remember show coolanttemp and Battery voltage but I can mistake)

but it looks like that HOBD driver always loosing connection this car computer. dot in corner is dark green for few seconds and when become the light green

This MIL code I get only once, I try to reset it
In dash board it still showing checkengine
then I try initializating again diagnostic
but this time it failed

Yes, it appeared once, but in "pending codes" list. This means that was a code which was expected to be raized, but not raized.

I'll try doing some changes to nissan custom profile to read these mil codes.
