Consumption method

Hi,

what is "builtin consumption sensor" in consumption method?

Now i am using MAP sensor.

This method uses builtin LitersPerHour PID from OBD2.

The problem with it is that I saw no OBD2 cars which have this PID working.

But the method works on some custom protocols (f.e. for russian local market cars).
Technically, this would be the best FC method, because vehicle itself gives back the exact amount of fuel consumed.

The Fuel flow (L/hr) and KM per liter are working on my rental 2009 Toyota Yaris (EOBD complaint).

I wanted to ask whether it is possible to calculate the fuel consumption by diesel injectors? (diesel engine is a direct injection (car MAZDA 5))

Unfortunately I haven't seen any diesel vehicles, who report injector pulse width sensor value. Thats the actual problem.

I'm not sure, but maybe these data are suitable for the calculation of fuel consumption
