Hello

I wanted to do Hobdrive with the OBDLink MX (Bluetooth).
A connection is not concluded unfortunately, it displays the following error:

"An established connection which aborted by the software in your host machine"

My radio is a XOMAX XM DTSBN921 with WINCE 6.
What does this error mean?

Hi Dietmar,

Thats probably an issue with security/PIN code.

You should pair your OBDLink first in wince control panel, enter PIN there.

Only after that hobdrive will connect with it.

that pair with other OBD-Bluetooth adapter (E.g. EXZA HHOBD) works well.

My China Navi has no keyboard so I can enter the PIN.
I used to always the config.xml and manually entered the PIN there.

There are no fixed PIN at the OBDLink, I can confirm only the pairing with ok. Android, that's no problem, a popup will be displayed there.
At Hobdrive there is no such popup window?

In addition, the confirmation is time-bound, it must be 2 minutes after pressing the pairing button done.

Hi Dietmar,

Hobdrive does not manage bluetooth device connection on its own. That a job for the system and OS.
You may try and check OBDlink documentation to see how to perform automatic pairing without clicking "pair" everytime.

Hobdrive can't do much here.

I finally found the ultimate note OBDLink homepage.
Now HOBDrive and the OBDLink communicate well with each other adapter

For others who have the same problem and no connection popup appears. Simply enter the PIN 1234, the rest is done automatically.

OBDLink detects the device and stores it internally.
